ScanSuite 1.2 US (3,78MB) ----- MANUAL

ScanSuite 1.2 is the replacement for QuickPanel. QuickPanel is an old Windows 3.x program which does not always work correctly with Windows 95 and does not work with Windows NT at all. ScanSuite is the first real 32-bit program which works with both Windows 95 and NT. For this program you need at least ScanWizard 2.49 or newer.

TWAIN 1.48 ... Special version of the Twain Plug-In. This version is for the ScanMaker IISP and ScanMaker IIG using an ASPI (i.e. Adaptec) SCSI control card.. This version corrects problems with quot;start/Stop" movements of the scanner head... If these scanners are being used with the MS-PCZ or MS-PNR card, DO NOT! use this version upgrade to version 1.52 or greater (such as Twain 1.72).

Twain 1.52

TWAIN 1.52 ... Mid-release of the Twain Plug-In for Windows 3.1x. This version is for users that have early models of the ScanMaker II/IIXE scanners, as well as any early-model scanner that uses the MS-PCY adapter card (i.e., non-SCSI).

Twain 1.70

Older/Special version of Twain 1.70 rel.1 .... This version is to correct problems with IISP scanners that have an overall greenish cast to the image when scanning with Twain 1.72. This may be a factor on some ScanMaker III scanners as well.

Twain 1.73 ... Release version 1... Latest version of Twain software for Windows 3.1x.. This version is not Windows NT compatible, and has had limited success with OS/2 2.x, and Warp. This version improves support for ASPI interface cards like Adaptec, allowing smoother and faster scans. It uses a larger buffer in DOS, (i.e., 30k to 34k, which can be removed with an ASPIIF /u command). This version is !!! NOT !!! for the ScanMaker 45t. Please download TN70_45T.zip if you have the 45t scanner... This version does not support the MS-PCY adapter card.. Please download DCR152.exe if you have a scanner which uses the PCY interface card... This version includes PATCH2.exe which has current updates to Adobe Photoshop 3.0. These patches from Adobe are ! REQUIRED ! to use current versions of the Microtek Twain software.... If you have version 3.04 of Photoshop do not install these patches.

Twain 45t

Special version of Twain 1.70 for the 45t multiformat scanners. This version is !!! NOT !!! a general upgrade for the flatbed scanners.. For ScanMaker II series scanners please download version 1.52 or 1.73 of the Twain software... SPECIAL NOTE when extracting this file use the "-d" switch, to create an original Scanning Module disk..(eg: TN70_45t.exe -d A:\ ).
